Having previously worked with Peterevans on multiple design projects including stands at Copenhagen 2005 and Sydney 2006, HATCH were thrilled to rekindle this longstanding relationship with founders Mike and Sue Foley.

Sues background in Textiles and love of art always influences any design project and we were keen to echo the beauty of patterns found throughout the Arabic world. HATCH designed this intricate bespoke fretwork pattern as the focal feature of the space.

The fretwork was waterjet cut from 10mm frosted acrylic set into the towering units and softly illuminated to the rear.

The space itself was partnered with Equiniti so neatly comprised of 2 meeting spaces. We designed an informal area that was located on the side aisle allowing for drop in chats and less formal meetings, while the second space was set back allowing more privacy without feeling enclosed.

This space showcased Sues photographs of art and architecture in Cardiff Bay (Peterevans hometown) set against the photos she had collated from an exploratory trip to Dubai. 

The stand was 6M X 4M and featured a drumkit as its prize giveaway.
