Two worlds collide - we drew on the imagery of the campaign and printed direct to traditional rice paper, knocking back the saturation to expose the natural texture of the substrate. These were framed in a waxed wood surround and softly illuminated, drawing influence from traditional Japanese design.

HATCH, inspired by the depth and layering in the textiles dissected this by hanging layers of mesh in the window and hand painting each one to reconstruct the pattern in 3D . The effect was gradations of movement and a shifting dynamic that changed as the viewer approached and passed by.
