The original magazine was printed to sugar paper and the bright images were saturated and textured. To emulate the quality of the original print we designed bespoke artwork and the pages we printed direct to aluminium composite to achieve a slim yet structural form.
2D printed plates cut through the page creating floating shelves for folded product, a key piece hung on the front page and pop words stood out from the page adding 3D layers.
Decals printed semi translucent to clear vinyl framed the display and revealed the story.
All displays were customized to fit the 5 unique Laurel stores and designed to be easily installed by the store VM teams.
The largest magazine stood 1.8m tall.
